The "master tapes" give access to the students to the RAW interviews that were featured on the Center Piece "The New Italian Viaggiatore." 

1st Master Tape is an interview with Pasquale Russo, the young B&B owner of Castellabate.
2nd Master Tape is an interview with Chiara Prascina, the archaeologist who works in Matera 

To use the tapes:

- ITAL has conveniently separated each tape into three parts.  Instructors can just assign a part instead of providing the time interval. 
- Optional Exercise: Student transcribes (note, transcribe not translate) 1 minute of the interview, word by word. Listen to it as many times as needed.
